Lena Dunham dons strapless dress as she cuddles up with  mystery man at Violet Grey event in LA

Lena Dunham was seen snuggling up to a mystery man at a Los Angeles event at the establishment Violet Grey on Wednesday evening celebrating its latest partnership with Apple’s Beats by Dre.

The Girls star, 32, wore a shoulder-less off-white print dress with sapphire blue sneakers. She wore her short auburn locks pushed back as she enjoyed the summer evening in the City of Angels.

The Golden Globe winner, who parted ways with ex-boyfriend Jack Antonoff in December after a five-year relationship, had her arm around the gentleman, who was clad in dark colors as he smiled as she leaned on him while speaking on the phone.

The New York City native earlier Wednesday was seated in a vehicle as she posted a shot of herself tagging the makeup manufacturer Glossier, writing that she ‘used [a] full face of your makeup and feeling very impressed by fool proof nature.’

She made headlines earlier this week as she opened up on social media about how much better she felt physically after putting on weight amid a battle with endometriosis.

She posted a side-by-side comparison of herself at the different weights – 138 and 162 pounds, respectively – comparing how she felt at the time.

‘I remember the impossible pain that brought me there and onto my proverbial knees,’ she said, noting at that the smaller size, she was ‘complimented all day and propositioned by men and on the cover of a tabloid about diets that work.’

She said that she was also ‘sick in the tissue and in the head and subsisting only on small amounts of sugar, tons of caffeine and a purse pharmacy.’

At 162 pounds, Lena said she feels ‘happy joyous & free, complimented only by people that matter for reasons that matter, subsisting on a steady flow of fun/healthy snacks and apps and entrees, strong from lifting dogs and spirits.’

Lena also posed with Violet Grey founder Cassandra Grey at the function.

Grey, in speaking with Women’s Wear Daily, said that she was ‘really inspired’ by the innovative marketing approach Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine built the beats brand with, focusing on sports culture.

‘Beats has always been on our list of brands we love.’ she said. ‘When it comes to curating non-beauty products we think about what brings us joy, what’s convenient and what could most benefit our lives. Headphones are one of those accessories that have become a staple in our wardrobes. They’re a necessary luxury.’
